ApolloIRC was born on Dec. 14, 2008, during one of those random occurrences in the middle of the night when I spontaneously worked on my server and possibly add some new feature (which I still do to this day). I had always wanted to build an IRC server for some time, but never dedicated the time. On Dec. 14, I decided to roll up my sleeves and get serious and start a server. I eventually started the website up and got it professionalized.

Today, ApolloIRC has been online 360+/365 days of the year it has been online, keeping a sensationally high uptime.
